MalwareBytes will not open after install on Windows 10 Home

Just now downloaded and installed Malwarebytes on Windows 10 Home (my mom's machine).  This machine had previously had malwarebytes installed on it and I had to remove it some months ago to fix errors/issues on/with the machine..  Install completed successfully but MalwareBytes will not open.  Any suggestions?
