Hello,

We detect this as a riskware program. It is not necessarily malicious but we often see these being installed stealthily to hog victim computer resources in order to mine for someone else's wallet. In this case, we warn the user.

You can exclude the directory if you like. Several other AV also detect this.

imho completely retarded, but alas I just renewed.  I  already put in an exception for the program ,  but it still warms me everytime it runs a scan. VERY annoying.

I can also just exclude the exe itself & not getting a "hit". Check too that you have the latest version of MBAM. (3.1.2.1733)

Check for program updates when updating definition files is checked,  but apparently I am on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium 2.2.1.1043

I will reinstall.
