hello. i'm currently on mbam 2.2.1.1043 premium and am getting the prompt to upgrade to a newer version of mbam. i click on the 'install now' option on the dashboard and when i get to where the new mbam installs it points to C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware as default.

my current install of mbam 2.2.1 is C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

i don't want to end up having two versions of mbam installed because of different install paths.

what should i do?

thanks.

Hi quakeworld :)

Installing Malwarebytes 3 over Malwarebytes 2.2.1 will replace the current installation, so it is the right folder to install Malwarebytes in. Give it a go, then take a look in your Control Panel (under Uninstall a program) and you should see only one Malwarebytes instance listed.
