Version update wont install (popup keeps appearing)

Hello, I have tried to install the most recent version update 3 times and each time i continue to get the version update popup as if it hasn't installed. What is causing this error?

It goes through the installer process fine and restarted but I still get the popup afterwards each time  

I am using Windows 10 64 bit on a Lenovo Yoga i7 laptop.

Hello and Welcome, not sure why its not updating for you, however you can just download the latest installer from here https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 and install over your existing version.
