After upgrading one of my pcs from MWB Prem v2 to v3 I noticed it will not able to open Firefox v54.0 (32bit) unless I disable MWB's Exploit Protection.  I am sure this is not a safe work-around.  I read about this issue 3-4 months ago on other threads and thought the current version might have remedied this but I guess not?

I am keeping my other PC at MWB v2 as I am not sure how to move forward on this?  Any help would be most appreciated.

Sometimes the upgrade from v2 to v3 does not go smoothly, lets get a fresh re-install and see if it fixes your issue, otherwise post the requested logs below...

Let's try this first.... (Malwarebytes clean removal tool will backup your license information and then re-enter the license to the new install)

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (NOTE: After uninstalling with the mb-claen tool you will be asked to reboot. Once you reboot it will ask you if you want to re-install Malwarebytes, you can select YES (it will download the latest version) or you can download the latest version manually (currently v3.1.2.1733 ) to re-install from HERE)
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: mb-check-results.zip, FRST.txt, Addition.txt)
  3. NOTE: More info about the latest Malwarebytes 3.1.2 HERE; MB 3 User Guide ONLINE; MB 3 User Guide PDF; MB 3 FAQ: Malwarebytes 3.0 - Frequently Asked Questions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank You,

Firefox

Thank you for such a quick reply.

No sooner than I wrote my post I decided to install v3 on my 2nd PC.  And it worked fine with Firefox?!  Then I went back to my other PC and now it appears to work with Firefox as well!?  Strange as I could not do that over the past several months.  SO maybe you included something with a recent update?  THe onl;y other thing I did a little different was I already had a Firefox site up, then turned on Exploit protection and now it seems I can open Firefox with no issues.

If I have issues again I will resort to your posting above on what to try.

Again many thanks.. luv the program.
