GREP.DAT cannot be created

Hi, trying to check my system with JRT and it's crashing with an error that GREP.DAT cannot be created.

Any ideas?

Hi,

To me it sounds like a permissions issue. The tool is unable to extract its files. Maybe try downloading a new copy of the tool from the official page here and ensure you are running it by right-mouse clicking and select "Run as administrator". Also turn off anti-virus software before attempting to execute.

Same problem.  I run JRT weekly and it has always worked fine but now it says it can not create the file  GREP.DAT  Access denied.

Downloaded newest version gives the same error.

Running as Administrator gives the same error.

I think you have a problem.
