Router lights & Windows Task Manager shows data being sent (not initiated by me)

Hello Again,

Been a while since I was last here. It appears I may have some sort of bug or trojan on my PC: in the last two days I've noticed data being sent from my computer which I cannot correlate with any activities (eg. email, internet) that I have initiated.

I looked in C:\Documents and Settings\Frank\Local Settings\temp directory and noticed a file called gxmixern.sys which previously appeared to be a problem back in February 2009. See this thread: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...howtopic=11219) and AdvancedSetup's post of:

Feb 13 2009, 06:06 PM. I also noticed a couple of new hidden files via WinPatrol both in C:\WINDOWS named: SwSys1.bmp and SwSys2.bmp both first detected 23 July 2009.

Since that last problem my PC has run without any issues and never any instances of viruses, malware, spyware, etc reported by my AV products.

Below is the HijackThis log ... nothing shows up on MBAM Quick Scan, Spybot SD scan, Norton 360 2.5.0.5 quick scan or Windows Malicious Spyware Removal Tool (July 2009) scan. Nevertheless "something" strange is going on!

Please not the unusual behaviour (ie data sending) was NOT occuring when I ran HijackThis.
