Windows Store stopped working after removal of malware

Hi, guys! Big fan of MBAM for years now; but recently, I seemed to have encountered a problem with it.

I've had my laptop infected with malware a few days ago and MBAM successfully detected and removed it. Cool.

However, it seemed to have restricted the internet access of my Windows Store and all its Apps. I'm quite positive that this is related to MBAM because I was in the middle of using Skype while MBAM was cleaning things up. After restarting, I couldn't sign back into Skype and any other Windows Store app.

How do I fix this? Is there some sort of whitelisting on MBAM that I need to do? Thanks.
