Malwarebytes Freezes PC

We have several clients with Premium License.  Somehow Malwarebytes freezes system. Everything works slow, cannot remove it from Add/Remove Programs.

 

The Only way to fix it was to Stop Malwarebytes Service (disable). Restart PC. Start Service. Restart PC.

Is it some kind of glitch with new version or update?

Hello @MatrixCow

From your logs it seems that you have Symantec Endpoint Protection  installed. We discovered a potential conflict with SEP and are working to resolve the same.

In the meantime the fix for this is to add Malwarebytes exclusions into Symantec Endpoint protection.

1. Open SEP and add exclusions.

2. Reboot machine and Malwarebytes should be functioning normally.

Here are the list of files you need to add.

Let me know if that worked.
