Windows 8.1 Defender and MB Premium

Hello,

I currently have Windows 8.1 on my built PC and subscribe to the premium version of Malwarebytes. I am very happy with its level of protection but I was wondering if I should have a traditional antivirus running alongside it. For example, Windows Defender is disabled currently. Should I enable it - then add the exclusions as listed elsewhere on these forums? Or is it better to just have one of these running at a time and keep it disabled? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You should be able to run Malwarebytes along with Windows Defender enabled, as malwarebytes is compatible with most of the AV vendors.

I would recommend turning on both Windows Defender and Malwarebytes.
