Package 3.1.2.1733 Minor Install Error

Recommended Posts

This package would not install if I unchecked the create desktop icon in the script.  I didn't want the icon, and it didn't complete the update.  It took several times to figure out, and I kept getting the update the software alert.  Windows 10

Once I tried the install with creating the icon, the install worked fine.

I am happy that the path for the office products works for anti-exploit!

Hello @pt51:

It is possible that the logs have been deleted but please try to locate the MB3 Setup Logs:

  1. Please log in as an Administrator and press the WindowsKey.png + R on your keyboard at the same time.  If successful, the system will open a Run window.
  2. Type, the following into the Run window's Open: text box: %TEMP%.  Then, single left-click this window's OK button.
  3. If the previous step was successful, an Explorer window will appear and may contain miscellaneous folders/files.
  4. Only if it/they exist(s), Copy and Paste to the Administrator's desktop, all the Setup Log {yyyy-mm-dd #nnn}.txt files that correspond to the MB3 install dates/times. Close the Explorer window.
  5. Please only attach any/all the Setup Log files to your next forum reply. If the steps above did not show any Setup Log files, please relate that in your next forum reply.

Please update this topic with your findings.

Thank you.
