Can't open Malwarebytes or Hijackthis

Ive been trying for several weeks now to fix my computer on my own. I downloaded Malware Bytes today and got about half way through the scan before my computer shut off and now i cant open the program. I downloaded Hijack this i cannot open that either. I cant use system restore to a previous date either. I have run out of ideas any help would be greatly appreciated.
