Thought my system was compromised, did fresh windows 7 install same issue

Hello,

I have been worried last few days because I thought my system was hijacked and I couldn't really do anything to resolve that issue. I kept searching "Malewarebytes real-time protection disabled" read as many threads I could and tried everything. I finally gave up and reformatted my SSD and did a fresh install of windows 7. I thought I was in the clear but as I was installing windows 7 updates, I got this error on the attached image. This is brand new install and I only have Firefox, Norton, and Malewarebytes premium installed.

I was on trying to sign up for an account on this website then all of sudden, I noticed that real time protection turned off by itself and firefox went into the "not responding" mode. I am so frustrated right now. Please let me know what I have to post for some help. Thank you.
