Mike89 Posted June 1, 2017 ID:1132115 Share Posted June 1, 2017 Back a few days ago when the giant thread appeared with comments of protections getting turned off, I was one of those. It fixed itself but now the problem is back. This time the Exploit protection turned off and I can't turn it back on. It goes to "starting" a few seconds and then turns itself off again. I can still scan. I tried stopping and starting the service and that's not working either. Hope this gets fixed soon. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

dcollins Posted June 1, 2017 ID:1132131 Share Posted June 1, 2017 It looks like there was an error during your upgrade installation. We fixed this in in our updated release yesterday, but the old installer can cause this. The best solution is to download the latest installer from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 and install it over top of your existing MB3 installation.
