BSOD while using Intel Turbo Boost Max Techology 3.0

Recommended Posts

Hello all, my computer got a BSOD from this error. I was using the Intel Turbo boost Max 3.0 program before it happened. All i did was try to Enable/Disable the Turbo boost , and then the BSOD happened. Does anyone have any idea what this error means? Have i encountered a bug?

Your UEFI/BIOS (version F5) dates from 2016.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  This is just in case there has been a more recent update.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and that outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

These devices have problems in Device Manager:

Base System Device    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1577&SUBSYS_11112222&REV_00\6&269F6B29&0&000000E0    The drivers for this device are not installed.
NVIDIA High Definition Audio    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10DE&DEV_0083&SUBSYS_38426286&REV_1001\5&21661B2A&0&0001    This device is disabled.
Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet Controller    PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_E0A1&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_10\4&1B4D4C05&0&00E5    This device is disabled

The first device is most likely a Thunderbolt driver - although you may want to try the SMBus drive and the Chipset drivers also.
The other 2 devices are disabled - did you disable them deliberately?  If so, why did you disable them?
Please re-enable them, then update their drivers to the latest, W10 compatible version.  Then, if you'd like, you can disable them again AFTER updating them.

Corsair Link has been known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.  Please uninstall it in order to see if it's contributing to the BSOD's

Please update these older drivers.  Links are provided in order to assist you with looking up the source of the drivers.  If unable to find an update, please uninstall the program that is responsible for that driver.  DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!!!: SiLib.sys                   Thu Jul 15 18:08:26 2010 (4C3F86DA)
