MB3.1.2 Hanging

MB 3.1.2 has been locking my debug file, like for example this path:

C:\Users\lino\Documents\Visual Studio 2017\Projects\operw\operw\bin\Debug

I don't know what triggers it to lock but it happened in the past and I never understood why, so yesterday I looked and my operw.exe program as locked and Visual Studio could not compile and rewrite the output. I closed the handle on procexp and it's ok, but this is a huge problem.

My program is so small and the only 3rd party is json.net and only does a few json stuff. That should never be blocked. Thanks

I split your post out to a new one because the original thread was 5 years old that you replied to.

Ideally this shouldn't be happening, there's an easy solution of exclude the Projects folder from MB3 if you need an immediate solution. However if you have time to troubleshoot, could you try turning off the different protection modules under Settings -> Protection and seeing if the issue persists? I would start with Self-Protection, which requires scrolling down a bit.
