Updating "Malwarebytes Pro"

Good afternoon,  I wonder if anyone could kindly suggest any advice on the following problem.

I run WinXP still and I have used "Malwarebytes Pro" (paid version) for about 5 years. For sometime, I have not been able to update the Definitions (which now say they are 1,167 days old!). I receive an Error Updating message.   I tried manually updating but this does not work either.  I believe that I am not getting through to the Host Site.

PS. I was interested in trying the new programme (includes Ransomware protection) but I cannot download the file for this either.
