More problems.

MWB version 3.1.2.1733 Premium Web protection has been turned off without any user action on two pc's running it.  It will not start again.

One pc crashed completely and locked up following and attempt to restart MWB and view the log files.

It has been restarted and seems OK, but MWB will not start protection.  MS Security Essentials and Defender all seem OK.

I am thinking this application is nothing but trouble.

An update to the above - one pc running version 3.0.6 seems to have all protection  layers running, but those with the latest 'improved' version 3.1.2 have protection disabled.

I see that this latest 'issue' has been experienced by many others and is covered elsewhere on the forum.

We are told it is the result of corruption of the updated database of threats held at MWB (rather worrying).

Anyway this latest problem may have been resolved and it is necessary to run the scan process so as to update the threats from the latest database.  Then quit MWB and restart it from the desktop or whatever.  Alternatively simply restart ones pc.

My own confidence in MWB is at all time low.
