Hello,  I am posting this here as per the instructions in the following thread:

 

When I renewed my annual subscription a week or two ago, I was instructed to uninstall my old version of Malwarebytes and download/install the new one.  I did so, and have had no problems after that until today.  But now, I am suddenly getting a pop-up message that "Real-Time Protection layers turned off."  When I go to Protection Settings, Web Protection is turned off.  I attempt to turn it on, and it says "Starting" but never moves past that.  The pop-up message keeps coming back.

 

I did a web search and found the instructions under the above thread from January.  This thread instructs people in my exact position to follow a bunch of steps and then come back, start a new (individual) thread, and upload files.  So I am attaching the four files you requested then that people send who were having this problem.

 

I am running Windows 7 Pro.

I don't know what's changed on my system to suddenly cause me to be having this problem when I have not had any problems during the last couple of weeks?  But please help me get this fixed.  I don't like not having real-time protection ... that's why I subscribed in the first place.

 

Please advise what I should try next.
