When I selected a disk with a drop down menu, MBAM free displayed this message. It says "Windows - No disk".

If I let the 'A' box unckecked I can start the scan.

So the 'A' is empty but an arrow is displayed by MBAM free, is it a bug ?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi apple_bloom :)

It looks like you're using an older version of Malwarebytes 3.0 (3.0.5). Please uninstall it, run mb-clean, and then install the newest version, 3.1.2. This should fix your issue.

A:\ is generally reserved for floppy drives.  Do you actually have a disk/any data on A:\?  Is it a floppy disk drive, and if so, is it empty?  If the drive is empty, then there's nothing there to scan so it should not be selected, though it may still be a bug that it throws that error.

Ah, yes, then that explains the error.  When you select that drive to be scanned, Windows reports that there is no disc in the drive/that it's empty, and that's where the error comes from.  It doesn't show up as long as you don't try to check the box next to A: in Malwarebytes, correct?
