Torpig found on computer please help remove

Hi there when trying to log into my email earlier today it told me my password was incorrect and also the internet seemed to be slowing down so I contacted my ISP (AT&T) and they sent me to one of their support numbers. After giving control of the computer to the helper, he ran some test and said that topic had been found on the system.  He offered to help remove it for a fee, however I cannot afford such a high fee at this time.  So I told him I would just try to remove it myself, I've used Malwarebytes 3.0 and malwarebytes anti rootkit tool but they both detected nothing.  So I'm making this topic to ask for help,  please respond at your earliest convenience because I've heard that this virus can spread through the network to other computers in the house.
