Just since 3.1.2.1733 became available = problem

Try to turn on Malware Protection but cannot.

Must reboot. Getting to be a pain because it happens all too often.

Just thought I would pass it on to the Malwarebytes experts.

Did you experience this issue after upgrading from 3.0.6 to 3.1.2 or was this a fresh install?

It was not a fresh install BUT over the top of the previous version.

Quick question:

Can you check if under Settings/Protection , the "Enable self-protection module early start" is turned on or off?

If that is on can you turn it off and reboot to check if Malware Protection turns on.

If that still does not work can you please follow the forum post below and post the MB-Check, FRST and Addition.txt logs

Early start is OFF and it started up normal this time.
