moon Posted May 16, 2017 ID:1125515 Share Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) Hi I have this friend that I know he is a bit into hacking stuff, he send me a crack and I was unsure if he put anything in it so I scanned the file over virustotal and seems there is a trojandropper and malware, can it harm me?? Aura Posted May 16, 2017 ID:1125540 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Hi moon Without the actual file (which is a compressed RAR archive), it isn't possible to analyze the .exe it contains and see if it's malicious or not. Also, be aware that downloading cracks is one of the best way to get infected. Also, from the content of the RAR archive (an .exe with a PDF stating how to make money with the program), it definitely look fishy to me and I wouldn't touch it with a ten meter pole.
