Malwarebytes not current after uninstalling and reinstalling

Can you try the following please:

  1. Quit Malwarebytes by right clicking the system tray icon (next to the clock) and choosing Quit Malwarebytes
  2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService
    • The ProgramData folder may be hidden. If you can't find it, either turn on showing hidden files/folders or type the path manually
  3. Delete any file that ends with .mbdb (there should be 7 files)
  4. Open up Malwarebytes and check for updates

If this fails, please run mb-check that Firefox mentions so we can get new logs
