Malwarebytes causing Stuttering/ Freezing in Games

As the title suggests I have just realised it was Malwarebytes that was freezing/ stuttering the games I was playing. 

After installing/uninstalling drivers with no Fix ,I realised maybe it was a scan that was running in the back ground but no that wasn't the issue it was the Self Protection module that was slowing things down for me. As I don't currently know of anyone else with this problem as of yet. All Feedback or Fix would be greatly appreciated as I don't think turning off the self protection Module will be good for me Long term.

Can you make sure you're running the latest version from the following thread. We fixed some issues around self-protection
