No matter what I do this file mbae64.dll is stuck on my drive, and I uninstalled this software a few months ago. I tried everything including mb_clean. It's primarily telling me that I am not an administrator, but even when I log in as my computer's administrator, somehow I lack sufficient privileges. I am getting very frustrated, as this is beginning to feel like malware in and of itself.

Please help me get this off.

Hello and Welcome...

Do you have Malwarebytes v3 installed on your computer? If you do and you have self protection enabled you would have to uncheck that first...

Not sure which MB clean tool you used, try the latest version once again you can find it HERE after the tool runs reboot and see if the file is gone.

If its still there try running the tool in safe mode.

One last thing to try is see if you can rename the file, if you can, then delete it.
