Malwarebytes is "cancelled" during pre-scanning

Hi all! Windows 10 updated last night... some new version of Microsoft edge and a few other additions. When I woke up this morning, however, and tried to run MBAM, the threat scan ran once... in about 16 seconds.. which was unusually fast. Then I noticed that my windows defender was turned on again... I use Bitdefender for my antivirus needs.. Now more to the point.. I can't complete ANY scan. I tried scanning for rootkits because Windows Defender kept closing after I would open it.

I tried restarting in safe mode and the same thing kept happening with MBAM. I even tried turning off Bitdefender and it still did not help. I checked the log after the scan and it said that the scan was "cancelled" during the pre-scanning. I'll upload the report it gave me.

What exactly is going on?
