sync-eu.exe.bid notice from Malwarebytes Premium

Hi,

The notice window that an outgoing connection was blocked usually appears while I am reading html email. it is always to sync-eu.exe.bid. While I've been to the EU more than once, this desktop computer has not. I have attached the Farbar files.

Malwarebytes recently added a block on the .bid gTLD, hence the detections you are experiencing right now.

My apologies, I looked at the first few hits when I did a search in google on this and one included a Feb response going down this path. I recognized the .bid TLD but missed the connection to being blocked.

I get that sync-eu.exe.bid notice every five minutes. The Windows Forum claims it is a Malware software defect that is giving a false positive. I cannot get rid of it. What is the point of Malware if they cannot contain a Trojan Virus??

It seems like the sync-eu Trojan is in the computer, and Malware cannot isolate it. Blocking it is good, but how about getting rid of it??
