3.0.6 is baffled when machine is off standby or shut off

When I put my machine on standby/sleep (over night mostly) then 'wake it up' the program shows a red flag telling me it's out of date. I have to manually go to the tooltray and hit  "Check for updates' why is it doing this? I have removed and re-installed the program twice and the result is the same. Once it's up and running its fine but it should update from sleep, on it's own. Heck it's set to update every 15 minutes.... it can't seem to figure out that the machine was off or on standby but now is ready to go again.

Needless to say the older version never did this, it was completely hands off with no intervention from me. Seems pointless to have it if its out of date every day!

Hi Telos,

I have to say I have never waited that long, because I don't want to sit here with outdated protection. So I give in and sit there clicking things to make it update! Seems silly to me but I can try it the next red flag I get. 
Shouldn't take long for that to occur, sadly....

A definite answer is NO, the program is sitting there now, 25 minutes after waking up from a 12 hour standby.

I'd have to do it manually for the red flag to go away....<sigh>

Yes but I find I cannot register/activate it it! is that because it's a Beta version?? It will not accept either of my keys, the license or the Product key. The 'activate box' stays greyed out!

Problem solved I was ablt toactivate the Beta version, I had a character wrong in the ID had written down.

I will use the Beta and see what it does after it's shut down overnight.

@Tinsby can you send me a private message with a screenshot showing the key you're typing in? Even though it's a beta, it should still activate properly. You can send me a message by clicking my username and then clicking Message at the top
