sync-eu.exe.bid still not resolved

The issue with the sync.eu.exe.bid malware that MalwareBytes blocks outgoing data from every few seconds, when I use Chrome, Firefox, IE, or the AOL software has not been resolved. The thread on that issue has been closed, supposedly resolved by downloading the latest MalwareBytes definitions. However, I update every other day, but continue to get that annoying popup message that MalwareBytes is blocking that malware from sending data, every few seconds.  I'm running Windows 10, using MalwareBytes Home (Premium) 2.2.1.1043, and the last update was Database Version  v2017.04.30.04.

Is this EVER going to be fixed? Every scan shows no infection, so either this is a false positive, or a serious threat (as some websites say it is a very nasty malware program), which Malwarebytes is unable to remove. I reinstalled Chrome and that worked for awhile, but within a few minutes Chrome was reinfected, as I expected.  Windows Defender and Zemana scans also detect no threats (supposedly).

I doubt that the problem is with Firefox. I get the same message when I use the AOL software, in which case the process identified in the error message is the AOL program; and when using Chrome, in which case the process is chrome.exe. Hard to know if the browser software is actually infected, or if it is just the process that is being used by sync-eu.exe to either send data or trigger a pop-up ad.

Thanks for response. I am new here and I would have thought Aura of Special Ops would respond.

Aura of Special Ops was at the gym, hence why he couldn't reply before. I crush malware, but I also crush the fat :P
