Are Malwarebytes and McAfe compatible

I reinstalled McAfee Security Scan Plus on my Windows 7 and now with every scan I get a report that my PC is at risk. It says "Virus and Spyware protection needs attention".  It reports that "You have more than one Anti-virus product installed which might cause problems.  They recommend that I remove Malwarebytes".  I have had both previously and had no conflict.  Why now?  I have Malwarebytes Premium Installed.  What do you recommend?

This is a change from Microsoft where they are recommending to have only one security application on your computer at a time. Malwarebytes is designed to run alongside other AV software, so there should be no concern. If you want to disable this message, go to Malwarebytes -> Settings -> Application and under the Windows Action Center section, set Malwarebytes to Never register with Windows Action Center
