NIKHILS

I appreciate the Malwarebyte program and it has resolved many issues.  However, the new version slowed my computer tremendously and affected my search engine Google Chrome.  I tried all of the fixes but Google failed to work properly, the extensions needed to be reloaded and when Google opened it was a black screen and would not function until I turned of Malwarebytes.  After a frustrating day I deleted and have now returned to the 2. version.  Hopefully,  things are improved and I will switch back.

We have identified an issue with Norton Anti-Exploit, and MB3. There are two current solutions:

  1. Use the 64-bit version of the web browser OR
  2. Turn off protections for the affected browser.
    1. This can be done by going to Malwarebytes -> Settings -> Protection -> Manage Protected Applications and toggling off the impacted browsers

This issue should be fixed in our next release of MB3
