However our users remain blocked and another user submitted a thread here where a new issue was raised https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/199742-gamebananacom-still-blocked/ The file mentioned in that thread has also been removed. I would to try explain again our site model. We are essentially a file sharing site for game modifications and we have to combat the very occasional malicious user on our site as any file sharing site does. We automatically withhold (meaning there is no public access to the content any more) any content with executables in them and then sometimes use virustotal to check the content. When a malicious user is detected their submissions are trashed and they banned from the site. The actual archive, which is only accessible via a direct url, is then deleted from the database manually. I would like to try work out a way we can work together on this instead of our site getting blocked over and over again and us having no way of knowing other than relying on our users to tell us or for one of us to have to buy your antivirus just to check.
