Creator's Update Issues

I am running Malwarebytes Premium version 3.0.6.1469 component package version 1.0.75 update package version 1.0.1765.  I don't run any other security software and I have Defender disabled.

I've got two issues.

1. Sometimes a scan will get stuck and I can't cancel it with the Malwarebytes GUI, I need to use Task Manager and do an End Task.  It doesn't get hung up on the same file all the time, it's just random.  I never saw this problem prior to W10 Creator's Update.

2. Frequently the Malwarebytes Tray App shows all protection modules are turned on, but if I open Malwarebytes it says that Exploit Protection is turned off.  So I'm never quite sure whether Exploit Protection is doing its job or not.  It seems to disable itself from time to time, with no notification via the tray app.

From your description, it appears as if the system's MB3 has missed two helpful Component package updates.  Please make sure the system's Malwarebytes License Key is stored separately in a safe place and follow the procedure within https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/193984-cant-start-malware-protection/?do=findComment&comment=1118597

The above procedure will have updated MB3 to Malwarebytes 3.0.6 CU4.1.  When done, please post a follow-up with the progress of the system's issues.

OK will do.  I never seem to get these component package updates automatically.  I had to use this procedure fairly recently to get to my current level.

What is this CU4.1?  I don't see a CU number on my About Malwarebytes, just the information I gave in my original post.
