Real-Time Protection layers turned off hairy65

Just started for me today, exactly as described by Jim_UK, except it doesn't take more than a minute or so after reboot for the message to re-appear. This is the first time it's happened to me.

Thanks! When I read your post, I went to try it... and exactly as you said, it turned on after just a couple of seconds.
