MBAM could not start the RtKt services,

Greetings from the Great Country of TEXAS.

When booting up MBAM v3.0.6.x reported it could not start the services for Rootkit scan.  Rebooted and did not help so did a reinstall of MalwareBytes v3.0.6.1469.1096 by just doing a reinstall without uninstall, then rebooted.  Then discovered "Enable self-protection module early start" is OFF and will not turn-on.  Will this latest version MBAM v3.0.6.1469.10103 solve this issue?  If not should I use the "mbam-clean-2.0.2.0" to remove MBAM and then do the reinstall with the latest version?

Looking around on my system located a set of instructions from the forum on similar issue and used them.  All turned out well and thingys are back to normal, if you consider me normal?  I even wonder sometimes myself . . . so Thanks for the HELP and have a GREAT Week-end, CU L8R.
