I'm no expert, but I am pretty sure its extremely borderline between being legit and having some rogue-like qualities.

I'll go on record and say it is most definately not malware. Most definately not the best product out there either, not even close. I can think of half a dozen, maybe more if I try hard, free security tools I'd use in place of that and if I was going to spend a dime I would most certainly not have that upon the list of considerations.

But hey, that's just me.

Not just you . I fully agree, not malware, but not trusted product, at least in my eyes. Right up there with Paretologic for me .

Same there, not malware (at least I don't think so), but I really don't recommend their products (of course, also note that my opinions are my own and I do not work for Malwarebytes', I'm just a computer geek ).

WOT lights stop-sign up like a Christmas tree . Haven't read too many good things about them.

From what I understand eacceleration is trying to "turn around' their product since new management came in, but with Avira, Avast ect... I wouldn't touch it.
