amadeot Posted April 14, 2017 ID:1117338 Share Posted April 14, 2017 (edited) I'm writing to you from Hashtag Labs, an advertising operations firm for independent publishers. One of our domains which we use to manage advertising partners (hxxp:://htl.bid) has been blacklisted with the message "malicious site blocked" from Malwarebytes. It's no different than Prebid.js. We were blocked once before (hxxps://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/195958-htlbid/) but ended up being whitelisted / told we were just caught up in a block for all .bid websites which was reversed. Below I have included the details sent from a user. Thanks so much! Domain: htl.bid IP: 52.85.69.80 Port: 52038 Edited April 14, 2017 by amadeot
Staff Zynthesist Posted April 14, 2017 Staff ID:1117351 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Hello, We currently have a block on *.bid. You can inform your user they can add domain to their exclusions if they would like to exclude the domain. Thanks.
amadeot Posted April 17, 2017 Author ID:1117851 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Hi Zynthesist, We were told previously that there was a block on .bid but it had been removed. Is it the plan to continue blocking the top-level domain .bid? Thanks again, Amadeo
Staff Zynthesist Posted April 17, 2017 Staff ID:1117875 Share Posted April 17, 2017 At this time there is a block on *.bid gTLD and we will continue to monitor/review the gTLD.
