Every time I open Malwarebytes v 3.0.6, the Dashboard tells me I'm not fully protected.  I click "Protection Settings" and click "Exploit Protection"  it says "Starting..." and it hangs.  I get the same result multiple times.

Attached is the screen shot and MBAMService archive.  I'm using Windows 10 Home version 1607.

Unfortunately there's not much in there, let's try getting a debug log using the steps below:

  1. Close the MB3 UI if you have it open (you can click the X in the upper right hand corner)
  2. Open MB3
  3. Go to Settings -> Application
  4. Scroll down to and turn on the option for 'Event Log Data'
  5. Go to Settings -> Protection
  6. Attempt to turn on Anti-Exploit
  7. Go to Settings -> Application
  8. Scroll down to and turn off the option for 'Event Log Data'
  9. Obtain and post a copy of the Malwarebytes logs
  10. A copy of the contents of C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs in a ZIP file (attach to post)
    1. The ProgramData folder may be hidden. You may need to show hidden files, type the path manually or type “%programdata%” (less the quotes) in the Run command
  11. Attach the ZIP file by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

It looks like you may have somehow gotten an older version of mb-clean. The new version will take care of downloading the program (we just released it the other day). If you still haven't reinstalled, you can download the latest installer https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/files/mb3. If you have re-installed and everything is working well, well then awesome !
