Malwarebytes 3.0.6 CU4.1 and IP Protection

Looks like your fix for the defender issue re-broke the IP test feature...

When going to http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ I get the following:

If you are able to reach this page it means that IP protection is disabled on your machine.
And I get no block notification from MB3.

If I refresh the page I get the correct block page and IP Block notification.

Get it together already....

Correct this is on the computer listed in my sig... and its happening With IE 11 (all updates on this Win10 x64 box)

I rebooted the computer even though I was not asked to do so during the upgrade to CU4.1

After reboot I get the notification from MB3 of a block but test website states "f you are able to reach this page it means that IP protection is disabled on your machine."

Works correctly with Firefox and Opera browsers...

OK, I have performed the steps below:

ipconfig /flushdns
Ran ccleaner (which cleans our all my IE history/temp files and cache files)

Went to and now it seems to be working as intended.... Will report back if the issue continues.

Thanks @Firefox. This is a known issue with how Internet Explorer/Edge cache websites. We are researching this issue, but don't have an ETA for the solution. The good news is, this should only happen with websites that you've visited before and are still cached on your system, and only in Internet Explorer/Edge
