Can you please recommend steps to check if I have an infection present. cmd.exe opens up several (between 3 and 4) windows during startup of Windows 10. I had an issue with Malwarebytes where upon startup it would say that real-time malware protection wasn't enabled. After I checked "enable self-protect module early start", the problem *mostly* went away. It still occasionally happens. The cmd.exe started appearing in the last couple of days, and some of the internet forums suggested it might be an infection... Thank you! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
