Hello,

Yesterday I reinstalled the new version of Malwarebytes because I found on the forum that I regularly read that the update problem had been solved at the central server.

So the update goes well, but then I want to work on my Word 2016 documents as I did before with the premium version 2.2.1, and that's the problem that is happening.

If I want to copy a paste from a text to another impossible document it marks me "The program no longer responds in Word". I kill the process in the Manager. I reopen Word 2016 and there I open a document without making copy paste just open and close document, Word refuses to close and the program does not respond.

I think it may come that Malwarebytes this new version I look at the settings and decides to disable protection against Exploits and there I redo the copy and paste under Word, opening Word close without worry.

How come ?

Is this bug known?

cordially

Actarus

P.S: My antivirus is Bitdefender Total Security 2017.

This is an issue with Anti-exploit that we've addressed in standalone Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. The changes should get pulled into MB3 in the future. For now, you can disable the Office apps from being protected in MB3 -> Settings -> Protections -> Manage Protected ApplicationsThis is a known issue that we are looking into.
