Items scanned readout

Hello,

Malwarebyte 3.0.6.1469-1096

Is it possible to show on the Dashboard Protection History on the Items scanned readout just the numbers of the items checked in the last scan.

At the moment the items of all scans are added up, that might after a time exceed text space.

Hi sysopa:

I agree, and I'd go one step further and suggest that the Items Scanned count on the dashboard of MB v3.x should be removed altogether since it provides no useful information. It's a misleading and irrelevant statistic that ignores the fact that each successive scan is scanning a similar set of files and folders over and over again.  If users want to know the number of files scanned during their latest scan that information can be viewed in the scan report.

Exile360's response <here> in the thread Reset Protection History to 0 is on a slightly different topic since users in that thread were suggesting that they should have the ability to reset the entire protection history, including the number of scan detections and real-time detections, back to zero. I would agree with exile360 that there's some value in knowing the total number of threats detected by MB on a user's system, unless the majority of detections are false positives.
