Enable Rootkit scan is not working

Hello - just contacting you to inform that the rootkits scan switch does not work or turns off when a scan commences.  Just thought you should know.  How does one learn of possible fixes?   Thanks.

For on-demand (manual) Threat Scans, the toggle switch is located at GUI -> Settings -> Protection -> Scan Options -> Scan for rootkits -> On.

For individually scheduled Normal Scans, go to GUI -> Settings -> Scan Schedule -> Double-click the scheduled Normal Scan in question -> Advanced -> Scheduled Options -> Select Scan for Rootkits.

For individually scheduled Custom Scans, go to GUI -> Settings -> Scan Schedule -> Double-click the scheduled Custom Scan in question -> Custom Scan -> Select Scan for Rootkits.

Note well that scanning for rootkits adds a considerable about of time to any scan.

@andrewjellis17 are you clicking on the switch to turn rootkit scanning on, or are you clicking + holding and then sliding the switch to the on position? Sliding won't work, but just clicking it should change that setting

Hello Devin - your right I was holding & sliding the switch.  Clicking works.  Who knew?   Thanks.
