Update March 31 2017 bad

updated malwarebytes on 3 computers. win7 64 × Also using Kaspersky. 2 computers froze repeatedly on startup. Had to remove malwarebytes on 2 computers. OK after. Any suggestions? Like to keep both programs.

Hello and Welcome.

Some of the updates/upgrades do not go smoothly.  Lets get a clean re-install to see if that the helps your issue.

Let's try this first.... (Please remember to de-activate your Malwarebytes first before un-installing or using the clean removal tool)

1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (after uninstalling you can download the latest version (currently v3.0.6 CU4) to re-install from HERE)
2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 4 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 4 logs are: mbam logs zipped, FRST.txt, Addition.txt and mb-checkResult.txt)

Exclude these in your Anti-virus exclusion settings and IF you are using any Firewall other the built in one be sure to allow Malwarebytes  complete access.

Exclude the Kaspersky folders in Malwarebytes exclusions.
