welcome to the forum, see this topic http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=19299 read thru it, Its 2 pages, on the bottom of the last page may be the fix for you... Post back if you need any help... regards...

Yes, I read through that forum, and it brought me to another thread, and when I click on the link provided in the new thread, I get "Error code: 707 (3)"

I don't know too much about computers, and when it said drop that version into the previous one? I wasn't sure how to do that, so I skimmed ahead to someones post that said to get the program Revounistaller and remove the program and redo it, but that didn't work either.

To remove MBAM with clean tool:

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

2. Restart your computer (very important).

3. Download and run this utility. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).

5. After the computer restarts, install the latest version from here. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray and run a Quick Scan.

Want to try the above, I'll be here a bit....

Nope, that didn't work. It had gotten rid of one of the runtime error pop ups that happen, but there are still two that are showing up.

Any other ideas?

There are no error codes? Did you see this top post? http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...=19388&st=0

and this one:

If you have been having the "C++ runtime-error" crashes with 1.39, please download a hotfix version of mbam.exe from here:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/~marcin/mbam.exe

Drop this version into the C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware directory, and overwrite the previous copy of mbam.exe. Then please make sure MBAM now runs correctly.

We would also like to collect some data to make sure we have fixed the problem correctly. Please go to More Tools -> Collect Information and post the resulting data for us here.

Thank you very much for your patience as we work out these issues!

Let me know if you nee help with this please?

ok, I while I downloaded it to my desktop, I got the 707 (3) error again, but it saved to my desktop. So while I tried to find the place it needs to be dropped into, I go to my computer, and then I'm lost from there. It has shared documents and my documents and my local disks

Yes please, you're last post really confused me. I was wondering if you were able to clear it up for me a bit. I do not know where the place I need to drop it at is. I understand that I am needing to drop it and overwrite another file, but I can't seem to locate where the file is.
