The logs in the thread I linked above. Here's the instructions as well:

  1. Obtain and post a copy of the Malwarebytes logs
    1. A copy of the contents of C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs in a ZIP file (attach to post)
      1. The ProgramData folder may be hidden. You may need to show hidden files, type the path manually or type “%programdata%” (less the quotes) in the Run command
    2. Attach the ZIP file by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area
  2. Create and obtain Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) logs
    1. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
      1. Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
    2. Double-click to run and when the tool opens click Yes to the disclaimer
    3. Press Scan button
    4. This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
      1. Attach both of these logs to your post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the files to the attachment area
  3. Create and obtain an mb-check log:
    1. Download mb-check from here and save to your desktop
    2. Run mb-check and within a few second the command window will open and then close
    3. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-checkResult.txt
    4. Attach this log file to your post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

What logs ? I have reinstalled 2 times now and followed all directions .

That is insane your program is not working and you expect me to do all that ? I am not a PC technician

If you can't provide the logs, that's ok, but unfortunately we won't be able to troubleshoot the issue. Our first step would be re-installing, which you've already done. While I understand that the program not working properly can be frustrating, without more information from the steps I listed above, we unfortunately won't be able to provide much assistance.

I see the error happening in your logs, but unfortunately no call out as to why. I would recommend uninstalling Malwarebytes and re-installing it just to get a fresh start.

If that doesn't help, an mb-checkResult file should help. Instructions for that can be found here:

  1. Download mb-check from here and save to your desktop
  2. Run mb-check and within a few second the command window will open and then close
  3. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-checkResult.txt
  4. Attach this log file to your post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

lateast version with core 1.0.96 installed some days ago with the help of mb-clean tool, MB seems more stable and faster, but  this web protection turning off out of nowhere issue persists.

logs.zip

FRST.txt

Addition.txt

MB-CheckResult.txt

after attach the files, restarted MB app and everything is normal, like same problem, same solution as with the previous version.

dcollins  I turned off Vipre for several hrs and MB real time stayed on . I turned it back on and MB lost real time . Now occasionally they have ran together for several hours before real time shuts off , so it might be vipre edge and then what is answer I am not getting rid of a lifetime subscription I have with it .

Since disabling VIPRE helped, let's add Malwarebytes to the VIPRE exclusions and see if that helps so you can leave both protections enabled. The instructions below are from the VIPRE website on how to add exclusions. You will want to add C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware as an excluded folder

Can you let me know the full version of VIPRE that you have installed? Either grab the FRST logs I'll outline below or look in Control Panel/Manage Programs and let me know the full name and version of VIPRE. I'd like to try and replicate this locally.
