The information in the pop-up is as follows: Exploit automatically blocked Malwarebytes detected and blocked an exploit. It is no longer a threat to your computer. Affected Application: Microsoft word I am not able to open any word file. What should I do? davephx Posted March 29, 2017 ID:1113252 Share Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) Lots of folks experiencing this. Excluding the update directory didn't work for me. I had to open Word in safe mode (Control+Word) and delete (uncheck) the Grammerly add on. But would like to have it work. Disabling the protection for Word stopped the message, but I am concerned about opening and using sensitive Word documents with the protection disabled.
