Studied the forum because I had the same problem. The major answers on internet says that the Malwarebytes 3 make conflicts hunting the same topics as antivirus programs will handle. I have F-Secure SAFE and in [Virus Protection] and [Manually Search] I excluded the Mawarebytes map.

Before above I cleaned by uninstall with Revo uninstaller, reinstalled Malwarebytes and finally as above excluded the map in F-Sevure SAFE software.

Finally I restarted the computer and got a warning from Malmwarebytes: Not all realtime protections was on, restarted one more time and now it seems to work and the message Unable to connect the service is gone.

I dont like to do the exception in F-Secure or even publish this sollution because the information could be used by malware hackers.Anyway, I hope this helps until next update from Malwarebytes developer.

FWIW, the KB article is not the best solution. Instead of running DeepGuard in compatibility mode, which significantly reduces your protection level, add the \Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes folder to the scanning exclusions (or \Program Files\Malwarebytes), depending on your installation path.

Hope this helps
