Uninstall Malwarebytes , you can use mb-clean-2.4.1.1007.exe

Restart computer

Install malwarebytes with mb3-setup-consumer-3.0.6.1469.exe

Run update

Install mb3-setup-consumer-3.0.6.1469-1.0.96.exe

Its work for me, i think the problem is from mb3-setup-consumer-3.0.6.1469-1075.exe

Incredible, DAY 4 and still no real resolution. This is completely unacceptable from a security company that we trust our computers to. Does anyone at Malwarebytes actually care..? Why isn't every developer working on this..?

Is yours a clean install using CU4 beta? If so, please post the logs as described here:

If not a clean install, please uninstall (deactivate any license prior to uninstalling), then use the clean uninstall tool (see Stickys) followed by CU4 beta installation (see Stickys). Reboot after installation and post here.

There's been two workarounds posted to get this working that has solved for the problem for just about every user reporting this issue. I'll outline the details below:

  1. Uninstall your current version of Malwarebytes and install the CU4 beta from the link below.
  2. Reset your HOSTS file using the instructions provided from Microsoft here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/972034/how-can-i-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default

Either of these two solutions seem to be solving the problem for people. If you're still having issues, please post the log files mentioned above as you may have a different issue.

If I may add a 3rd *possible* solution, that worked for me.

After going through all the help here (in my own thread) that didn't get my MBAM 3.0.6 working, a thought went through my head while trying to sleep.
I tried it when I had time yesterday, and everything has been working properly since... about 18 hours and it's updating properly again.

What I did was removed my license, manually updated; (which works if you are in free edition), then I re-entered my license... and it has been updating all by itself last evening, and after starting up today, it updated just fine again this morning.

Too simple... but it worked (for me). :)
